12, The Green Hasland
Chesterfield, S41 0LJ

Hasland is a thriving village located in North East Derbyshire a few miles from the Peak District National Park and a short walk from the centre of Chesterfield.

The village is well placed for direct access to the beauty of the Peak District from junction 29 of the M1 motorway running that runs from London to Leeds. The village also has a wide range of shopping opportunities as well a rich history of its own. As you arrive into Hasland from the the motorway you drive through the hamlet of Corbriggs with its links to the area’s coal mining past. Coming into Hasland from Chesterfield you pass Eastwood Park with it’s village hall, cricket pitch and war memorial; both routes converge in the heart of the community at Hasland Toll Bar.

Great Shopping and Amenities

The main shopping areas are situated along Mansfield Road and just off the centre, along The Green. Within a short distance are the three schools; The Infant and Nursery School, The Junior School and Hasland Hall Community School.

Should you arrive in Hasland from the village of Grassmoor you will pass the Grassmoor Golf Club and the Parish Church of St. Paul. This road also takes you directly into The Green, past its shops before you arrive again at Hasland Toll Bar. Our community is well served with amenities including five public houses, three local supermarkets, a variety of take-away food outlets and many independent businesses offering a wide variety of goods and services.

Each Monday afternoon the village has a visit from a mobile library and have our own community police station. We boast our own playhouse, community centre and working men’s club. There is a cricket team and a community run football club, that fields teams of all ages, including a ladies squad.
